The Southwest, also known as the West Southwestern United States, is just that – it’s a wonderful place to explore. It’s a place for both adventure and relaxation. It’s where you can get away from it all and experience a whole new culture. It’s a beautiful place for you to get away, but it’s also a place where people come for some good family fun. When visiting the Southwest, make sure you take advantage of the family trips you can have.
With that said, it’s time to go on your first family vacation to the Southwest. We have come up with 10 days to get you started. Now, let’s dive in!
1. Day 1: Phoenix, Arizona
Phoenix has a lot to offer when it comes to things to do. Start by visiting The Heard Museum – the museum is a place of art and culture. It houses a lot of Native American artwork, so if you are into that sort of thing, this will be a great place to start your journey. On your second day, travel to Tucson, which is just a short drive away. Get out and enjoy the art and culture here as well. Next, it’s time to head north to Lake Powell. There, you will be able to enjoy some good golf while you are here. If you are a golfer like me, you will love this! In addition to golf, there are also some great activities that you can enjoy here. Spend time swimming, kayaking, fishing, jet skiing, and more. Lastly, stop by Mesa Verde National Park to see the ancient dwellings of the ancient peoples of the Southwest.
2. Day 2: Flagstaff, Arizona

After your first two days, it’s time to head east to Flagstaff. You can spend the next two days in Flagstaff doing things to get you ready for your family’s first real vacation to the desert. One of the first things you should do is get to Grand Canyon. It’s one of the places you just won’t want to miss. In addition to the magnificent beauty of this place, there is a lot to do here as well. Spend a little time hiking around here and then take a ride on a raft through the canyon. This is a great experience. After your visit, it’s time to head to Page. You may never want to leave this quaint little city. Make sure you visit Fortification Hill. This is a great place to start your day. Finally, make sure you take a trip up to Mount Humphrey to see the incredible views and enjoy the great scenery.
3. Day 3: Payson, Arizona

You will want to spend your third day in Payson. You will enjoy time relaxing, hiking, and of course visiting with your family. Make sure you stop by The Lodge Restaurant and spend some time having a nice dinner. The food here is excellent! After your meal, stop by Arizona State Fairgrounds to enjoy a baseball game. You can see some of the best baseball players in the country playing in this stadium. Make sure you enjoy yourself and make the most of your vacation!
4. Day 4: Winslow, Arizona

You will be glad you spent a day in Winslow. Spend some time enjoying the area and checking out the shops. Make sure you stop at the Arizona State Fairgrounds to enjoy a baseball game, and of course, have a nice meal. You will feel as if you have been transported to a different era with the old-timey town of Winslow. Spend some time at the Historic Winslow Railroad Park, and you will feel like you are in the middle of the 1800’s.
5. Day 5: Bisbee, Arizona

This is a great place to spend the day. Spend some time enjoying the views, shopping, and of course, visiting with your family. Make sure you stop at Tombstone. You will learn a lot about the area and the history of Tombstone. Make sure you enjoy your time in this town. After your visit, you may want to visit the nearby National Monument. This is a great place to enjoy the amazing views of the desert. You will not be disappointed!
6. Day 6: Queen Creek, Arizona

Your day will be spent in the city of Queen Creek. This is the place to go for fine shopping. Make sure you enjoy some time enjoying the outdoors. Visit the Arizona Western Museum. This is a great place to learn more about the area and see some amazing western artifacts. Make sure you enjoy a meal in Queen Creek. There are many fine restaurants in the area. The city of Queen Creek is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend.
7. Day 7: Jerome, Arizona

There is no place quite like Jerome. You will enjoy the many things to do in the area. Make sure you visit the Stateline Visitor Center. It is a great place to get some valuable information about the area and have your picture taken in a cowboy hat. Make sure you enjoy the views at the Visitor Center. You will also enjoy visiting with the residents of Jerome.
Make sure you visit the Jerome Jail Museum. It is a great place to learn more about the jail. Spend some time enjoying the views from the Old Jerome Jail Museum. Jerome is one of the most beautiful and peaceful towns in the area.
8. Day 8: Tucson, Arizona

Enjoy your day in the historic town of Tucson. This is a great place to enjoy an educational and fun tour. You can take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the downtown area. You can enjoy walking along the streets and visit some of the famous attractions.
Make sure you visit the University of Arizona campus. It is the largest in Arizona. You can enjoy visiting the many shops on the university campus. This is a great place to enjoy some great shopping and dining. Make sure you spend some time visiting the Botanical Gardens. It is a beautiful and fascinating place to visit. This is one of the best day trips you can do from the area.
9. Day 9: San Xavier, Arizona

Take the tour to learn about the life of the people in the area. Make sure you enjoy the unique shops and museums you will see along the way. You will also learn more about the history of the area. Make sure you visit the San Xavier Catholic Mission ruins. It is a great place to spend some time enjoying some peace and solitude. There are many interesting things to see here.
Make sure you visit the Native American Church. It is a traditional church that is still used today. Make sure you visit the cemetery as well. This is the burial ground for all of the Native Americans that lived here. There are many interesting and beautiful views in this area. You can enjoy the fresh air and peace and quiet along the way.
10. Day 10: Marana, Arizona

Enjoy the views from the Old Oraibi Bridge. This is the last and greatest of the Arizona bridges. Make sure you go to Marana to visit the Old Marana Jail Museum. It is a great place to learn about the people who lived in the area. Make sure you enjoy a nice relaxing day in the state park. You can spend some time exploring the walking paths, or you can spend some time at the outdoor restaurants. You will be able to see many interesting things to see.
Make sure you enjoy the views of the landscape and the old buildings. Make sure you visit the Horseshoe Bend. This is one of the most famous features of the Grand Canyon. This is one of the only places where you can enjoy the landscape of the Grand Canyon. Make sure you take some time to enjoy it and to enjoy the peacefulness here.
11. Day 11: Las Vegas, Nevada

Enjoy some shopping along the strip in Vegas. There are many interesting things to see. Make sure you visit the Vegas Motor Speedway. Make sure you visit the Circus Circus, the Mirage, the Bellagio, the MGM Grand, and the Luxor. You will enjoy the shopping and the entertainment that is available in Vegas. Make sure you enjoy the beautiful views of the Strip. Make sure you visit the Grand Canyon of Nevada State Park. This is the state park in which you will have the chance to enjoy some hiking and some walking. Make sure you enjoy the great views and the landscape. Make sure you enjoy the old structures and the rock formations. This is the only place where you will have the chance to enjoy the landscape of the Grand Canyon. Make sure you visit the Hoover Dam.
Make sure you visit the Old Las Vegas Jail Museum. You will learn some interesting history of the city while you visit the Old Jail. Make sure you enjoy some relaxing time at the outdoor restaurants. You will have the chance to enjoy some dining along the beautiful landscape. Make sure you visit the Hoover Dam at the end of the day. This is the best place to enjoy the view of the city at the end of the day.
12. Day 12: Los Angeles, California

Los Angeles is the most populous city in California. This is one of the largest cities in the United States. It is the place where you will find many celebrities. Make sure you visit the Santa Monica Pier. This is the place where you will enjoy some great views and some of the activities. Make sure you visit some of the best nightclubs in the city. This is the city that has the best restaurants. Make sure you visit the Disneyland. Make sure you visit one of the best theme parks in the United States. Make sure you visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame. You will learn some interesting information about the city.
Make sure you visit the Hollywood sign. You will learn about the history of the city while you are there. Make sure you visit the Griffith Park. You will enjoy some of the beautiful views. Make sure you enjoy the beautiful sunset in the city. Enjoy some of the shopping available in the city. You will learn about some of the attractions and the shows available in the city. Make sure you enjoy some of the great attractions and the landmarks. Make sure you visit the Griffith Park Observatory. You will learn about some of the local attractions and the landmarks in the city. Make sure you visit the Universal Studios and the Hollywood Bowl. Make sure you enjoy some of the great shows and the activities available in the city.
13. Day 13: San Francisco, California

San Francisco is the home to many of the most beautiful and amazing places in the world. This is one of the greatest places to visit and enjoy. Make sure you visit Alcatraz Island. This is the place where you will learn about the history of the place. Make sure you visit the Golden Gate Bridge. This is the place where you will learn about some of the best views in the world. Make sure you visit the Bay Bridge. Make sure you visit the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. You will learn about some of the activities available in the city.
Make sure you visit the Presidio. You will enjoy some of the great views in the city. Make sure you visit Fisherman’s Wharf. You will learn some interesting information about the city. Make sure you visit the USS Hornet. This is the place where you will learn about some of the most exciting and interesting activities in the city. Make sure you visit the Chinatown. You will learn about some of the food items and restaurants in the city. Make sure you visit the Ghiradelli Square. You will enjoy some of the activities available in the city. You may want to visit the Embarcadero. You will learn about some of the best views in the city. Make sure you visit the Ferry Building. You will learn about some of the most interesting activities in the city. Dont forget to visit the Lombard Street. You will enjoy some of the unique and spectacular sights in the city. Take a visit to the Mission Street. This is the place where you will learn about some of the most amazing landmarks in the city. Make sure you visit the MOMA. You will learn about some of the most interesting stories and history in the city. You may like to visit the Palace of Fine Arts. You will learn about some of the best views in the city.
